Safeguarding

The EDClass platform treats safeguarding as its highest priority. Safeguarding of our young people, teaching staff and staff is paramount.

Eyes-On Learning

EDClass students benefit from live teaching sessions where they can watch a livestreamed lesson from our teachers.

The students’ webcams are recorded and monitored closely while they are on the system so that any safeguarding concerns can be reported immediately to the school.

Safeguarding Alerts

While on the system, students will have access to an “alert” button. If at any point there is change in circumstance, the student can use the alert button to alert the relevant staff at your establishment via email, text and phone call.

Safety Checks

Students complete a questionnaire at the beginning of each session to confirm that they feel safe, have the correct equipment and are ready to learn. If a student answers a question negatively, the school will be automatically notified.

Chat Logs

All chat logs, video and audio from your students and teachers using the virtual classroom are recorded and exported to your establishment.



IP Tracking

The IP address of your students’ approved workspace is recorded onto the system. If the student accesses the system from an unknown location, you will be notified.



Our Staff

All senior managers have passed their DSL course, with a strict hierarchy in the processes and reporting system. All staff have covered FGM / counter-terrorism and PREVENT.
